Rules Section Four
Category B Rules - Contest Organisers

1. There should be a method of indicating to the announcer when all Judges are ready to commence.

2. When Judges are sat at the front of the arena, there must be some attempt to shield them from any surrounding crowd to avoid distraction.

3. Entry and Exit points must be separate, with ideally the entry at the rear centre, and the exit, from left or right. Any deviation from this must be indicated to the bands prior to the day of the contest.

4. The Final Muster time should as far as possible be kept to a minimum.

5. Each Contest shall appoint a person to retrieve dropped items from the arena between performances.

6. Each Contest should ensure it has sufficient facilities on site i.e. Toilets, parking, changing areas.

These Rules are to be classed as Category B Rules and are therefore for Guidance Only.
