Membership

Here you can find information about becoming a member of TYMBA and of its current members. There are three membership types; these are Bands, Contests and Individuals.

Bands

Any band is welcome to join TYMBA. However we are a youth organisation and there is a big focus on this. Bands that wish to compete in competition can have no more that three of its members over the age of 25. There are a number of other TYMBA contesting rules can be found on this site.

If you are a Band Leader or Master and are interested in applying for your band to become a member, please download and print out the two forms below and send then to the address that is at the top of the application form.

Contests

TYMBA runs competitions for its member bands to compete in. Most of these are run by individuals or committees that have been involved in banding for a number of years and want to put something back. If you are interested in applying to run a contest, please download and print out this form and send it to the address that is at the top of the form.

Individuals

If you enjoy banding but are not in a band, TYMBA has a membership option just for you which will enable you to have an input on how TYMBA will change in years to come.
